	Welcome to the Bay Horse. Set in beautiful surroundings, with warm accommodation and traditional, local food with local ales and great wines in a traditional country coaching inn.
	Northumberland is famous for its fish, game, beef and of course 'our' lamb. Try our traditional British dishes, modern dishes or local favourites. Our food is freshly prepared using locally sourced produce.
	The Bay Horse sits in the heart of the historic Stamfordham, located just off the A69 and less than 30 minutes away from Newcastle. Our 6 rooms are cosy, welcoming and traditional. So come along and stay for a few nights of relaxation, with lots of things to do nearby.
	Northumberland is rich in history and boasts a wide range of activities. Whether you want to Fish in the Tyne, cycle, walk, shoot or visit our stunning coastlines there is something for everyone. Or, perhaps a trip to Hadrians Wall takes your fancy? Alternatively, you could visit Newcastle’s famous nightlife, theatre or a sporting event.
